I have registered but it tells me my email is not on record. What's wrong? What if I want to buy more than one file at once? How do I add an item to my shopping cart? I've lost my password. How can I log in? How do I pay for the video files? Why doesn't Pay pal send me back to Jivemecrazy? My download was interrupted. What now?
Why do I have to register to purchase a video? (back to top) Registration is compulsory for downloading dance video files for several reasons. Firstly it gives us information about you, so that we can contact you with updates and cross reference any problems you may have with the files you have downloaded. Secondly, registration secures your identity at jivemecrazy, allowing you to re-download files you have purchased in the event of a download interruption. It gives you a personalized and permanent shopping cart where you can store files for purchase at a later date. It gives you record of the dance video files you have purchased so that you don't buy the same product twice and it allows us to send you discount coupons that are effective for a certain range of registered names. Don't worry. Jivemecrazy will never sell or redistribute your information to anyone, nor will we ever contact you except about changes to the site or to send you our newsletter should you request it. Your telephone number is not really necessary. Feel free to put in a fake one. We will never telephone you for any reason.
I have registered but it tells me my email is not on record. What's wrong? (back to top) Your registration was not completed successfully. All fields marked with a red asterisk must be completed. Once you click "I agree" at the bottom of the registration page (see pic below), you should be presented with an account creation success notification, (see pic below) . If you receive any error warnings (see pic below) your registration has not been completed and your email will not be on file. Clicking I agree prompts the program to check your information. Registration success! Registration errors means you are not registered.
What if I want to buy more than one file at once? (back to top) Once you have added an item to your shopping cart you are presented with the option to proceed to the checkout or continue shopping. If you continue shopping that dance video file will stay in your cart and you will be presented with the list of items in your cart each time you add another item to it. The buttons look like this:
What is a cart? (back to top) Your shopping cart is an imaginary cart, a location where the items you are interested will be kept until you pay for them. You can remove items at any stage. You cart is permanent. That means that you can browse through at you leisure while you're at work, then when you log on at home, all the items will be there in your cart. How do I add an item to my shopping cart? (back to top) As you browse through the catalog, you click on an item's image to see the full description of that file and perhaps more photos of it. At the bottom of the item's description is the "Add to Cart" button. If you click this, the item will be added to your cart and you will be presented with a list of items already in it (if any). If you are not logged on at this stage you will be asked to log on first so that we know whose cart to put the item into.
I've lost my password. How can I log in? (back to top) When you attempt to log in, just under the email address and password fields, you'll see the words "password forgotten? Click here" When you do, you'll be prompted to re-enter your email address. A new password will then be sent to that address and you can use this password to log in. Once you have logged in you can go to your account information (top right of the page) and change your password to something you can remember.
How do I pay for the video files? (back to top) We use Pay pal for all our transactions. THis way, you are protected by their world class security and their broad range of payment options. You can pay with a credit or debit card without having a Pay Pal account. However, if you register with Pay pal, you will not have to keep re-entering your credit card details while online. Alternatively, you can link Pay Pal to your bank account - but this process is not immediate. You can learn more about these options at www.paypal.com
Why doesn't Pay pal send me back to Jivemecrazy? (back to top) Once you have successfully paid for your item at pay pal, you should be automatically redirected to the download page with each of the files you have purchased available for immediate download. Sometimes this takes a long time. (maybe 20 seconds or even more) Be patient. If you have waited a very long time and have not been sent back, you can make your own way back and go to "my account" (top right). There you will find the orders you have made and paid for. Click on the "view icon for each one and you will see the download links at the bottom of the page. The green arrow is for downloading each dance video file.
My download was interrupted. What now? (back to top) Don't worry. You purchase price gives you the right to download the file 5 times over 5 days. You can retry immediately, but be sure you don't run out of time or attempts. Some people have reported that they were using a faulty downloader assistant or that it was preoccupied with uploads or some other bandwidth demand. It's best if you simply download the file while nothing else is using your internet connection. Dial-up users, this could be as long as 1 hour per file @ 56k. |
