Step up in style to Intermediate+

This DVD by Ceroc Australia, includes teaching byMark and Somine Harding. The Disk includes 8 routines covering more than 30 moves. They are targetted at the new and the enthusiastic Intermediate level dancer. The disk is produced in the studio with high quailty video and audio gear. There is very little here that is strenuous so these moves can be performed well regarless of your parter power to weight ratio in most cases.

HERE'S A PREVIEW

AUDIO: Instructors are not wearing mics but the studio is silent. It is very clear and easy to understand.

VIDEO: The video and lighting are both excellent. The aspect ratio is 16:9.

NAVIGATION: The navigation allows you to select. The routine danced to music, the instruction of individual moves, and the slow motion dance through. In addition there is a section called footwork for each routine where you see only the feet. This may be useful for refinement and revision but I found that the full height footage was ample to decifer the footwork.

INSTRUCTION: The instruction is conducted by both Mark and Simone. The teach at a very comfortable pace; not too slow but including all the relevant tips to help you really get it. There are overlays of close-ups of hand holds to help you see the detail where neccessary. You will have no trouble following this instruction which also has a fairly relaxed and positive atmophere about it.

SUMMARY: This is a great intermediate disk with plenty of good content taught well and captured at high quality. There are a couple of moves which are upper intermediate level in my opinion but not beyond that. Plenty for the new intermediate dancer too. If you're after something more advanced try these:
